I have a meeting booked with the hiring manager for tomorrow. I have no rejection letter.
I’m feeling good.

Here’s an interesting intelligence report from stratfor.com: By George Friedman Among the things that emerge from every war, won or lost, are “lessons learned.” Each war teaches the military on both sides strategic, operational, tactical and technical lessons that apply in future wars. Many of these lessons are useful. Some can be devastating. The old adage that “generals are always fighting the last war” derives from the failure to learn appropriate lessons or the failure to apply lessons properly. For example, the lessons learned from the First World War, applied to the Second, led to the Maginot Line. They also led to the blitzkrieg. “Lessons learned” cuts both ways.

I had lunch with a friend today, and during the course of our conversations, she told me that what she likes about me is my consistency across the range of subjects I’m interested in. She said that in the same tone I can write about seeing ghosts and also about the latest events in Iraq, etc.
What it came down to was that I talk about ghosts, spirits, etc, in the same way I talk about politics, news and life. She liked that.
