The Power of the Light

Add comment January 17th, 2006

Over at the The White Wall, Terrence just posted about the spiritual battles he had with the invisible tormentors of his young son. I think it’s great to see someone open and honest on the internet about the battles they have with those negative entities that are around us on a daily basis. I think it’s also great that Terrence is in touch with his spiritual senses and is able to sense the presence of both negative and positive entities.

I wrote about my own perception of spiritual reality, and my own experiences with angels and demons. You might want to have a read of them if you’re interested.

How to get readers to leave comments

One of my readers left a comment over here, asking how to encourage people to leave comments on her website. I’ve been thinking about that ever since I read her comment.

One of the things which I really appreciate is the fact that with almost every one of my entries, someone comments on it. It shows that they’re interested in what I have to say and that gives me a warm feeling deep down in the cockles of my heart. I’m yet to analyse which of my entries get the most comments, and why. That’ll be a project for me to check out soon, when I come up with a new section - ‘most popular posts’, which will be based on how many comments the posts get.

RSS Feeds

Ever since I got into RSS feeds last year, I’ve been using Bloglines for my web-based RSS viewing of favourite websites.

The way it works is like this… I visit the Bloglines website, where I’ve got bookmarked those sites I want to keep up to date with. When those sites are updated, it shows me the updates on the site, as well as linking to the entries on the actual sites. I also have a notifier in my system tray (down where the clock is) that lets me know when a site has posted an update. It’s been very convenient to remain updated on when any of my favourite sites post a new entry.

"People trapped in the internet trying to come back to life"

1 comment January 17th, 2006

Someone was doing a web search for “people trapped in the internet trying to come back to life” and that brought them to my site. I can understand why, since ‘life’ is in both the search phrase and the name of my site.

However, it got me to wondering. Are there ghosts trapped in the internet? How do we know if any of the people who make comments on blogs aren’t actually ‘ghosts in the machine’?

We don’t!

Any person that you don’t know and haven’t seen in real life, could be a ghost, a lost spirit of someone who was addicted to the internet, and who, when dead, continued their existence by commenting on blogs.
