Since INFP’s make up about 1-4% (it varies with source) of the general population, we’re a pretty rare bunch of people.

INFPs present a calm, pleasant face to the world and are seen as reticent and even shy. Although they demonstrate a cool reserve toward others, inside they are anything but distant. They have a capacity for caring which is not always found in other types. They care deeply - indeed, passionately - about a few special persons or a cause. One word that captures this type is idealistic.

Prudence, Caution, Deliberation.

The Hermit points to all things hidden, such as knowledge and inspiration,hidden enemies. The illumination is from within, and retirement from participation in current events.

The Hermit is a card of introspection, analysis and, well, virginity. You do not desire to socialize; the card indicates, instead, a desire for peace and solitude. You prefer to take the time to think, organize, ruminate, take stock. There may be feelings of frustration and discontent but these feelings eventually lead to enlightenment, illumination, clarity.

I was just reading about The Secret World of Lonelygirl, which was really quite fascinating. It was exciting to read about how this guy has created a YouTube user called Lonelygirl15 (aka Bree, aka actress Jessica Rose) and rocketed her into online stardom.

There was a time when I used to date only asian women, until I met Deidre early 2005. I still find them very attractive, however, so they capture my interest when I spot them. My favourite weekend activity is sitting in a particular Starbucks where all the asians go, and ‘people watching’. While also writing or web browsing or playing Eve Online.

I decided to add photos to my blog posts. The reason for this is to break up the large amounts of text with pleasing, colourful photos of beautiful scenery. Every post, where I can and where it doesn’t detract from the content, will have some beautiful scenery for you, the reader, to look at.

I went through all the photos I’ve taken over the years and picked out the best ones to use in this blog. Every photo is mine, and was taken by me. I thought I’d stick to the original content…

Caring for your introvert

I’m going to be writing a lot of stuff in the near future as I explore what it means to be introverted. It’s helping me grow, and understand myself better.

There’s an article called Caring For Your Introvert, which is just really good, and has been considered by many (introverts) as one of the best articles on the internet about the subject. I’m going to take bits from it and offer my own thoughts about it.
