Your value to society

Steve Pavlina has a great blog post, as usual, about the abundance mindset. Part of his post included this statement:
Remember that money is social debt. The size of your bank account is a measure of how much society owes you for the value you’ve already contributed.
That’s just brilliant! Look at your bank account as being a reflection of the value you contribute to society, instead of a reflection of how little you’re worth.
If you want your account to show more money, then contribute more value to society. I like it.
