This blog is no longer active. There will be no more posts here.

All good things must come to an end, they say. But some good things just evolve and change form. I’m now working on a new method of delivering content, and will talk about that further below.

If you came to this blog from a search query, I’m sorry that what you’re looking for is no longer available here. It was a part of my life that is no longer necessary for me to continue displaying. I hope that you can find what you’re looking for.

I’m now completely focused on writing and publishing here:

Google+ is where I write my thoughts and observations about life, people, social media, and personal growth. I invite you to connect with me here. is where you can sign up for a free letter to your Inbox every day. It’s where you can join me on a journey to find wisdom and apply it in our lives.

To those of you who have been following this blog for some time now, I invite you to sign up to Google+ so you can continue to share this journey with me. Signing up to will allow you to continue receiving my work that is not being shared publicly.

If anyone would like to email me, please feel free to do so.

Thank you.

Happy new year

December 31, 2011 · 0 comments

And so another year passes. I think 2012 is going to be a very interesting year for me, not to mention for everyone else. It’s going to be a year where everything changes.

As part of my own changes moving into 2012, I’m going to prune all those posts from this blog that no longer have any meaning for me, and never had any meaning for anyone else. If I don’t care about it, and no one ever commented on it, it’s being deleted.

What about you? Is there anything on your blog that you can prune as no longer being relevant to you or your blog’s purpose?

Don’t forget – you can follow my updates and discussions on Google+. I’d love to see you there.

Becoming a travel blogger

2 April 2011

A few months ago, as I was returning home from a trip to Melbourne, I was thinking about how much I enjoy traveling, photography, and blogging. I was thinking about how enjoyable it would be to combine them all into one activity, and actually earn some money doing something I really enjoy. I thought about […]

I’m back on my blog

5 January 2011

As some of you might have known, I moved across to try out Tumblr for a while, seeing how that worked for me. But it didn’t work out very well at all. The things I wanted to do with it, I didn’t really do very much of. So I’ve decided to give that up as […]

Jobs, attitude changes, and iPhones

14 July 2008

What a couple of weeks it's been.  A few things have happened, which I'd like to share with you.  But first, apologies for not having written anything these past weeks.  I've been a little pre-occupied with a few things, which I'll be sharing with you below. I've been once again having some challenges finding another […]

Having trouble understanding the value of Twitter?

1 July 2008

If you’re like the average person out there, Twitter might be something that you just don’t get. “I just don’t get it,” I hear you cry out every day.¬† Well, I’ve explained the value for average users over here – Twitter for the average user – so I recommend you read it. And then follow […]

Updating this blog

24 June 2008

I’ve changed the ‘recently updated posts’ to ‘recent posts’, so that it shows only the latest 10, rather than the ones I’ve recently updated.  This prevents anyone from being confused as I edit all my old posts. So, I’ve started editing the old posts, modifying some of their formatting, and tagging them instead of categorising […]

This blog needs a clean out

18 June 2008

There’s over 1,000 posts in this blog, with the majority of them being in the ‘Pre-2006’ section.  I’ve decided that I need to clean up those posts by getting rid of what’s useless, and appropriately categorizing the rest of them. It’s going to be a big project, which will take some time to complete.  I’ll […]

Do you want me to get over my need for privacy?

27 May 2008

You know, one of the things I’ve found important in the past has been maintaining a sense of privacy about the intimate moments of my life, for myself and for those who are involved in it.  However, I’m thinking that this desire for privacy is holding me back from writing some of the stuff I […]
